The bogie lift trolley is a jack that is used to lift a bogie over a few centimeters with 4 lifting points (located underneath the bogie), without removing the bogie (the rolling stock body still remains on the bogie), in order to free the iron wheels from the rail (sufficient lifting height to free the flange from the rail). This lifting operation enables access to many maintenance operations requiring the removal of the wheel from the rail such as wheel change, magnetic pad, etc.
The bogie lift truck runs on a track underneath the rolling stock to be positioned under the bogie (e.g. on piles for a tram, on a line or pit track for a metro).
The bogie lift truck operates electrohydraulically, the lifting movement is ensured by 4 synchronized hydraulic jacks.
There are various models of bogie lift trucks, which are all suited to the lifted rolling stock and the workshop.

The column can move in all directions with its pallet truck-type movement system to free up the lifting area. No interference issues with the vehicle’s dynamic gauge.
